I've got some PICTURES! I know everyone loves pictures! Well, Pokka has been... hm... what's the correct term? Posting? Well! Pokka had posted pictures of her childhood on Facebook. I recently found out that my printer can scan stuff, so I managed to dig out a couple of pictures from my past. I look damn cute in all of them. (Main reason I chose them. Heh.) And there's also my Mom and Dad's wedding picture. As her daughter, I can't deny that she doesn't look pretty. :) My Dad used to have thick and black hair. Now... Who knows? His hair is always hidden beneath his cap. :/ HERE THE PICS ARE!

YVETTE and ME. I remembered I was afraid of that balloon thingy.

YVETTE, SHAWN and ME. At the same place as above.

Can you see where my siblings and I are? I'm sure you can, you smart person. :D The small boy my sister is holding is our cousin, who is... P4 by now. He's Darren. The other girls are my sister's friends. She was having a small birthday party at this place we liked to go when we were kids, Temasek Club.

YVETTE! A candid shot.

SHAWN and ME. That digimon he's holding is from one of the birthday cake of his. Now, don't say anything about him looking gay!

THE THREE KIDS again with my two older cousins. Pretty, aren't they? The older one, JieJie Rowena, married just this year. (she's the one sitting on the aisle seat) The younger one, JieJie Keisha, is in University. My brother looks like a spineless little guy. Haha.

DAD and ME posing for the camera in Genting.

YVETTE, SHAWN and ME again. At Genting. PEACE SIGNS.

YVETTE, SHAWN and ME once more! Still at Genting. My sister and I were playing with some fluffy stuff we plucked off the plants there. Laugh at my brother's goofy face. XD He was cold, of course. Luckily for me, I had fats and luckily for my sister, she had a jacket.

MOMMY, YVETTE, SHAWN and ME. This was when we were on a cruise ship. My mom! She looks so friendly!

MOMMY, YVETTE, SHAWN and ME again. Same location as above picture. ^^

Tada! YIYI SUSAN and ME when I was a baby! I was so cute...

YVETTE, SHAWN and ME when were all so much younger! Look at how cute all of us were!

YVETTE, SHAWN, A MAID and ME. I forgot the Maid's name, sadly.

MOM AND DAD'S special day-picture! PRETTY WOMAN AND HANDSOME MAN.
Hoped you enjoyed them... Whoever I'm talking to, anyway.

Shalyn.

Why does it seem that
a certain person's social life is improving day-by-day and
another person's is deproving day-by-day? And
the person who is improving
a certain person's social life happens to be one of
another person's greatest bosom buddies.
I'm not complaining about my social life, oh, not at all. I'm completely satisfied with the way I'm living now. Let's see..
Holidays:
Moday - Tuition.
Tuesday - Do Tuition homework.
Wednesday - Relax / Homework.
Thursday - Tuition.
Friday - Girl Guides
Satuday - Do Tuition homework (maybe) / Relax / Homework.
Sunday - If have not done tuition homework on Saturday, do on this day / Relax / Homework.
Yep, that's my weekly schedule. Is it missing anything? Of course not... What's that? What about time for my (pathetic) social life? I'm glad to tell you that my social life is doing excellent. I don't have to go out. No, no, I don't. I can stay at home, plop myself right in front of the laptop, sign in and chat to whoever's online. When I'm bored, I just pop in Sims 3 and play-away! Isn't that great? I'm so happy with my life and I'm UN-happy when I'm not in front of the computer. :)
Seriously.
Well, anyway, I'm working on a new blogskin. Yes, lots of time I have, don't I? Wow.
Who am I talking to? I think nobody comes to this blog. Oh, well. Bye-bye, tagboard!
Yours,
Shalyn.
P.S. There's this J-Pop Rockstar, his name's Miyavi. God, I think I'm in love with another guy~ He's like transvestite-ish, but who the hell cares?! He's hott. (DOUBLE 'T'.)
P.S.S. I wish I had never told Renee something... Just like how she wished she never told me about
her something. Looks like nothing can be changed at this point though.

I was right, after all. I think the person who promised my mom he/she will call back to inform her when the Sims 3 arrives forgot/lied. I prefer 'lied'.
I finished my tuition homework hours ago, before dinnertime. After that, new blogskin. :] Here's the link:
YOGHURT.Yeah, I'm not a big fan of yoghurt. I only drink the strawberry yoghurt drink/milk. But now my brother's favourite drink is the strawberry yoghurt drink because I bought it back one day. Hah, I'm influential. >:) *PROUD* Hahahaha! XD

Well, I went out early in the morning today to Tampines Mall. Ate breakfast with Miss Eunice, who hadn't changed much. And after we ate, we sat there talking about camp. When it was time, we went up to Popular. At Popular, we found the GAME WASN'T THERE.
A SAD GIRAFFEWhy wasn't the game there? Most probably all of it was at Illuma, where they're holding a launch party at 2PM to 7PM. The Popular lady said that the game was only going to arrive in the evening - 半晚. I think the characters are wrong. Well, whatever. You get the point. Ugh! So now I don't have the game yet. My mom called the Popular store at Eastpoint and asked when it was going to arrive and they said most possibly tomorrow. Well, great. Superb. Absolutely awesome.
I'm going to drown my sorrows in my tuition homework. x.x It's gonna be
exciting.Well, anyway. I'll post again (if I feel like it) after I finish my tuition homework. I think I'm most probably gonna concentrate on a new blogskin. LOL. Athen got nothing better to do so she made blogskin, right?
HAH.

Shalyn.

Well, tomorrow's the day Sims 3 is coming out! Hooray! Finally! I'm happy! A happy person / a happy gal / a happy girl / a happy dude / a happy dudette / a happy kid / a happy child. A HAPPY WALRUS. OOH, OOH!
A HAPPY GIRAFFE
I'm going to Tampines Mall to have breakfast & then buy Sims 3 with Eunice tomorrow! I have a feeling she wants to eat at McDonalds. -.- Well, whatever. My brother wants to eat McDonald's for lunch tomorrow. Mom won't be at home, of course. She's never home one weekdays unless it's a public holiday. She'll be at work, where my brother and I were the whole day today. (We have our tuition there.) My sister will be at school, doing stuff. Daddy? Daddo? Pop? Poppa? Papa? Father? Otou-san? He'll be playing...
You guessed it -
Golf.Well, it's not like I discriminate that sport or anything. It's just that... Well, I guess we shouldn't be selfish and should let him play hid golf since he's retired. He had been working for very very tiring long years before he retired/resigned. (He prefers 'resigned'.) But I just dislike it when he can't fetch us because he's playing
golf. Beware, Ren, your father might take up the sport (Golf is what old men usually do in their free time). Or he might take up some other sport, like... Tennis or badminton or something. Something that he will be able to work off a sweat and pass time. Retired fathers... Why can't my father just stay at home? Oh, yeah, he gets bored very easily. Oh, by the way, you know how mothers have that kind of 'Auntie power'? They speculate something before they buy it all the time and they have this kind of radar to where sales are at.
And they have this incredible ability to get something even though it's going out of stock fast.
Well, my father has the 'Auntie power'. Sort of. Yesterday we went to the John Little sale, he bought himself two pairs of boxers that were of the same design... Because they were on some hourly special offer. He was in a rush when he came back to us with the boxers. And he also got himself a pair of black pants. When he saw another color, he quickly scooted over there to get the other color. When my sister and I saw his reaction, we couldn't help but laugh. :) He buys anything that's on sale. When there's a sale nearby, he will
never miss out on it. He buys cheap stuff and keeps it. He has lots of clothes - all for the new year.
He's sort of old-fashioned and then again, new-fashioned. I remembered that Sin told me my father style-o 'cos he wore sunglasses when he fetched me from school. Sin saw him through the windshield. He referred a 'notebook' (laptop) as 'notepad'. How much more hilarious can that get? And he never seems to learn that the proper term is 'notebook' no matter how many times we tell him that. He's never embarrassed by the fact that he doesn't know the proper term. How cool. My father loves caps and is never seen outside house without one. He has over ten caps, I think. And one has his name 'Ken' sewn across the front. He got that one from Genting. One of the cart-stores.
Whenever his friend tells him something is good, he'll buy it. For example - that fake China-made Apple iPhone he bought from a store in Golden Mile. His friend had called him over and he went over to buy it. It sucked, obviously. He recently changed his phone to an old Nokia model. I have a sneaking suspicion he learned his lesson, he never admits he's wrong before, - a cool-looking phone doesn't mean its features are cool too. (I must say the people who made that phone are daring, they even had the Apple logo stuck on the back of the fraud.) Well, his friends are influential people, persons with high statuses in society. There's another time that my father bought these long-sleeved shirts (with ugly patterns old people think are stylish) because he saw his friend wearing them to golf. The shirts his friend owns is probably branded and expensive. My father's were bought in Bedok Interchange as we were walking to the coffeeshop. I think they're less than $10. He didn't regret buying those shirts, though.
My father likes to act like he's a total computer-nerd but I can say that even my skills are better than his. For some reason, he manages to fix something up in the end. But he usually takes a terribly long time.
Well, this shall be the end of my post.
I can't wait for Sims 3. It'll be an awkward moment - meeting Eunice for the first time in the year tomorrow. My sister is the Sims 2 craze, by the way. All thanks to me.
I failed level 30 of Diner Dash: Flo on the Go, so I'm taking a break from it. 10 minutes left to bedtime. (Sista has school tomorrow, see.)
Oh, by the way, getting new glasses after 2 or 3 days. :D But they're expensive. D: My degree increased by 75. It's now
875. Heheh, high, aye? I'm atomic. Haha. That was a weird word to use to describe myself. :/ Anyway, good night. 8 minutes left to bedtime.

Shalyn.

Bonsoir! ( Good Evening! )
We just came back from the expo. Our father had to ride the bicycle there. Hahaha. And then he rode the bicycle back while the ladies of the household walked back. My brother just came back. He wasn't here when
we came back.
We went to both the Popular Sale and the John Little Sale. Hoo! Fruitful ~ Fruitful ~
From
John Little:
Shorts that cost $16++! They're not super short or tight, that's why I bought them. & they're checkered! Checkered patterns are so cool! ^^ Simple white shirt with picture of a girl with headphones on the front - $9.90! Comfortable white shoes (size 40) with different-coloured splatters as pattern -
$12.90! INCREDIBLE.
From
Popular:
Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde for only $5.14! 4 Babysitters Club books - $8! Each costs
$2! I repeat
$2! AMAZING! THE BEST WHOPPER YET! 12 Faber-Castell Pencils - $4! Diner Dash: Flo on the Go for $14.95! Whoop!
Now is that a fruitful harvest or not! Yahoo!

I went out yesterday to Tampines. Watched Monsters VS Aliens with my mom. Brother went to friend's school for a school carnival thingy. Sister went to school for project work, and went out to who-knows-where after coming home for a bath. Dad went to Suntec city to listen to some talk so my mom and I were the only ones left with nothing to do. So we went to Tampines Mall to eat lunch and watch Monsters VS Aliens.
The Link or whatever that fishman is is creepy. Professor Cockroach or Dr. Cockroach was voiced by Hugh Laurie, Dr. House from the TV-series House! Hugh Laurie's a funny dude. XD
I want to watch Transformers ; Harry Potter ; Up ; Dance, Subaru ; Fighting ; Land of the Lost. :D So many movies to watch~
Susan Boyle ( I'm sure you've heard of her ) is incredible but yet she landed second place after a group of street-dancers. Too bad for her.
Used the entire morning to afternoon playing Sims 2. & Got my sister playing it too. She's now playing it. The Broke Family. She killed the mom once but the mom got back to life. Nah, I think she didn't save the game so she restarted. I'm playing the Caliente Family. People who play Sims 2 will know which two families those are. Those who don't, well, I'm too lazy to find a picture. Later, we'll be going to Expo for Popular Sale/John Little Sale - My mom, sister and I. My brother going to what condo for barbeque. I think we'll be meeting Dad there. Expo got nothing to eat... GAH.
Can't wait for SIMS 3. LET THERE BE SIMS.
Yours,
Shalyn.
P.S. Man, I've got tuition tomorrow. Homework status: 0%. Schoolwork
and tution work. =.=
